This topic describes the basic procedures for using DDHs to help you quickly understand and get started with DDHs on VolcanoEngine.
Procedure
- Preparations: Before you use a DDH, make sure that you have a VolcanoEngine account, provided the relevant information, and that your account has no outstanding payments.
- Creating dedicated host (DDH): A cloud host with physical resources exclusively for a single user. After you create a DDH, you can exclusively use all physical resources on the host.
- Creating ECS instance on DDH: Create one or more ECS instances on the DDH obtained in Step 2. These instances can be used for hosting your business workloads, with the benefit of exclusive access to physical resources to meet your requirements for enhanced performance and security.
