Description of IP addresses used by add-ons on nodes
This topic mainly describes the number of IP addresses that can be associated with node elastic network interfaces (ENIs) used by various add-ons in a VPC-CNI network model cluster.
IP address usage description
In a VPC-CNI cluster, add-ons deployed as DaemonSets consume IP addresses from the node's ENI-attachable IP pool. For example, if a node in a VPC-CNI cluster has 10 attachable IPs per ENI, installing a component like csi-ebs (deployed as a DaemonSet) will occupy 1 IP on that node. As a result, the number of available attachable IPs on node A is reduced to 9.
